CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND COMMUNICATION

It is more important than ever before that companies know what they stand for and what society expects of them. This requires clarity about values and about how the company is rooted in society, as well as active management by the board and supervisors (governance). Through dedicated communication one can involve internal and external stakeholders with the aim of generating input for future policies and actions.

In order to embed sustainability in the corporate structure sensibly it has to be part of the day to day management cycle. Managing Boards (or executive directors) need to define policies which have to be approved by the Supervisory Boards (or non-executive directors). After that, the policies can be rolled-out in the company in order to generate the intended added value in a systematic way.

The interaction with outside stakeholders is a crucial part of this process. By organising a stakeholder dialogue, publishing sustainability reports and integrating sustainability in the communication with investors, this can be done effectively.

Services and track record
In the past years, we have supported several companies with collecting non financial data out of the organization for sustainability reports. Also we have written sustainability reports and held stakeholder assessments for a range of clients. In the field of communication, we have done projects for a.o. FMO, Delta Lloyd, Wolters Kluwer, VolkerWessels, ASML and Aegon. In the field of corporate governance, Triple Value has done research for the Dutch Ministry of Economical Affairs on the relation between sustainability and corporate governance.
